My personal favorite collection of the night was Khushali Kumar's fairy tale based collection tilted Angels and Princesses. Why? Because it was full of gorgeous pleated and draped dresses in sheer chiffons, rich appliquéd tulles, feathered and metallic nets. Models also wore crystal tiaras to complete the theme of the collection. Each dress came in two versions – short and long - the former sexy and modern while the latter was elegant and sophisticated. The dresses also had a giant knotted bow at the back.
The color palette consisted of silver, platinum, gun metal, bronze, gold, skin and off white sticking to the theme of the collection. This collection is just perfect for that special night out with shimmering corsets, minis with intricate swirls of crystal, sequins and beads in strappy body con silouhettes. The multi petal appliqué technique on skirts looked fabulous.
The show stopper was the beautiful Dia Mirza who wore a silver gown with gun metal detailing at the waist. "I tried to make a fairy tale and create a special character. My whole show revolves around that character and that character is Dia Mirza. She went well with the look of my show. She looks perfect with a pretty face. So it had to be Dia." - Khushali Kumar.
