LFW 2012 : Masaba Gupta

Masaba presented a collection with a yummy summery name “Sorbet” at the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012. Her collection featured quirky vintage inspired prints with cows and cameras all over clothes. What caught my attention in particular were her camera print cholis and fabulous harem style Patiala pants. With distinct Indian influences, Masaba showed looks with sorbet shades like baby pink, lemon yellow, pista green along with black and white.

The collection had a lot of cool fusion clothes that will surely appeal to the fashionable adventurous.
The silhouettes consisted of maxi dresses, some intriguing palazzo saris, Patiala salwars and cute cropped tops, tunics, waist coats, blouses and jackets that were ideal summer wear. Men’s wear consisted of jackets and dhoti pants with the quirky camera print as you can see in the pictures below.

I also wanted to share that I have been featured as a guest blogger for this week for Be Beautiful,  and would like to thank them for this wonderful opportunity!
