The easiest way you can take care of the environment and yourself is by using natural, fair trade and organic products. Not only are they chemical free, automatically making them great for your body but they are also manufactured in environmental friendly methods. I found some great natural skin care products and organic foods on the Ethical Superstore which suit my regime.
I wear a lot of Maybelline gel eyeliner under my eyes and generous amounts of Benefit's Benetint which are both not easy to remove so I'm constantly buying wet wipes so was delighted to find these 3-in1 Facial Wipes from Faith in Nature, an award winning natural beauty product brand. These are naturally mild and soft and will cleanse, moisturize and remove make-up gently and easily. Besides that they are also 100% biodegradable, hypoallergenic, paraben and alcohol free, NO SLES and contain Vitamin C, Allantoin and Organic Aloe Vera.
I love using Face Illuminators. They make give your skin a glow even on a day when you're hungover or not well rested. This Illuminating Face Shimmer from the British brand Nourish makes your skin look radiant and healthy and reduces the appearance of uneven skin tone and age spots. It also contains Aloe Vera to stimulate collagen production to give you firmer, smoother skin and repair damaged cells, with Tripeptides and hyaluorionic acid that reduce wrinkles and fight signs of ageing and skin damage. A very little bit of the product goes a long way and it smells amazing too. Moreover, if you're pale, it gives a great summery glow to your skin.
Speaking of glow, the best way to give your skin a natural glow is to consume foods that are good for you. Which is why, in spite of my party girl lifestyle, I make sure I eat right and include honey in my diet which has made a huge difference on my skin. I was delighted to find this Wild Blossom Clear Honey from Traidcraft, produced in Chile and gently heated to preserve its natural enzymes. Try it the way I do with a glass of warm water and lime each morning for amazing skin.
Lastly, I think life's always more fun when its wine'o clock so I was really happy to find this delightful selection of 6 Fruity Organic White Wines from exotic vineyards of Italy, Spain, France and Argentina, the last one being 4000ft above sea level where the grapes develop a really brilliant clarity of flavour. I have a major weakness for white wine and trust me when I say that I am capable of finishing a bottle at miraculous speeds!
