LFW Day 5 : Rocky Star

Rocky S presented a new line "Rocky Star" for the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2012. Dried branches on the stage and black wrought iron gates flanked the sides, while autumn leaves covered the runway to give us a gothic feel. The all western line of creations had varying lengths encrusted with crystals and sequins.  The show was dramatic, with messy haired models walking in with ripped tights, goth make up, glum faces and a fierce walk. This collection, inspired by a chandelier saw a lot of crystals and bling on each dress. The collection was predominantly in ivory, black, grey and vintage nude . 

Despite the goth get-up of the models, most of the lighter colored dresses were blingy and pretty, so I spotted a lot of potential in them to be used in Bollywood films. The saving grace however, were the black gowns that the models wore at the end of the show, which very truly sexy and stunning!
