Lets Splash Out!!

I got a mail the other day from InFb, an exclusive community for Indian fashion bloggers about an amazing contest they are organizing in collaboration with one of my favorite brands - Splash. This contest gives one Indian blogger the chance to win all expenses paid trip to Dubai to attend the Splash Fashion Show for their 2013 Spring-Summer Collection. Awesome right? 

I've always been a huge fan of Splash and even chose to wear it head to toe at Lakme Fashion Week last year and the look was appreciated by a lot of designers and models. See the post here.

Anyway, so getting back to the contest, I had to create an ensemble from their Spring 2013 collection from Pinterest (which you can see here) and describe why I chose it. 

My personal style is a mix of edgy and glam and I definitely like to keep it edgy. After all, fashion is all about being individualistic, experimenting and more than anything, having fun! So this is what I would wear from the collection - 

As you can from my picture above, I've always loved crop tops, so this striped black and white top seems perfect. To add to it, I love monochrome and these bang on trend black and white pants will look fierce with the top. And even better, the vertical stripes really help elongate the legs and make you look slimmer which would work perfect for just about anyone, and especially for a short girl like me! But then again, this outfit does need a pop of color and this lovely coral jacket does exactly that. I'd complete the look with these cool black sunnies and I'm good to go. However, no outfit is complete without the right shoes so I added a pair of the ubiquitous fashion blogger's must have - a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas

    Even I am quite fond of Splash. Have a few pieces from them. But I didn't know your last FW outfit was from there. And I wouldn't lie this outfit is stuck in my head since then. I have truly loved it.
