Move Over #Selfie

I'm sick of the term Selfie. According to the Oxford Dictionary, it was the word of the year in 2013 but unfortunately even though we halfway past 2014, the word selfie is everywhere. Now, to be honest, we were taking selfies for years (at least I was) and the over use of this terminology makes it sound like its some newly discovered groundbreaking patented phenomena. However, what did impress me is when I discovered mirror selfies of a girl called Helene Meldahl, who is a doodler from Norway and makes amazing digital art from her mirror selifes. Take a look!     I am with you! I am so sick of hearing the word selfie. It makes any picture we take of ourselves sound entirely vain and silly. However - these ones are super creative and cute. Love her ideas!

    Selfie meanining narcisistic it did started years ago with self painted portrait of yourself. I like this creativity, and is ok if you good at it to manage a selfie but cteativity is awesome.
