Tucked away in a quiet lane in Koregaon Park, Skah Day Spa is a little haven of opulence and relaxation. I went there recently to indulge in some pampering and left absolutely zenned out! The moment you enter Skah, you feel like you've entered a zone of peace and tranquility thanks to its tastefully done interiors and greenery. Skah offers various therapies along with unusual treatments, scrubs and wraps for detoxification, de-stressing, skin improvement, and pain alleviation. Nikita, the gorgeous manager of the spa, is really sweet and is very helpful when it comes to advising you about the various treatments offered.
Skah is the perfect place for relaxation thanks to its serene and uplifting setting. The spa is well-lit with natural light, which gives a nice relaxing feeling to the senses.The therapy rooms are dimly lit with soothing music and a lot of aroma therapy candles burning in the room. Each room is equipped with a shower cubicle.

I wanted to indulge in some pampering for my skin, so I chose a package which included a full body massage, scrub and wrap. As I went upstairs to where the therapy rooms are, I was greeted by my therapist and then embarked upon 2 hours of sheer bliss. All the important things were in place: a low lit room, enough instruction, privacy and change time to get ready for my treatment.

Firstly I experienced the a 60 minute Aromatherapy Massage, a soothing full body massage using lavender oil which went perfectly with the citrus aroma of the treatment room and the calming music. The therapist's pressure levels were perfect and I felt absolutely rejuvenated once it was over. She was very professional, soft spoken and asked if the pressure was right and how was I feeling. After the massage, she applied a scrub and exfoliated my skin from head to toe. As much as I love using a body scrub in the shower, I realized that its much better at the spa. Post the scrub, I was made to take shower which was followed by a body wrap. To be honest, I had no idea what happens in a body wrap so this was an enlightening experience for me! My whole body was coated in a sea-weed body pack, and wrapped in a plastic sheet for some time and the room temperature is increased. This helps improve skin tone and the heat makes your skin absorb the pack better. I got out feeling utterly relaxed and with luminous and soft skin and was served some water and ice cream to re hydrate.

They also have a couples suite, where you and your beau can enjoy a spa day together or go with your BFF for a fun filled day of girly pampering :)
Besides spa treatments, Skah also has an impressive Nail bar stocked with endless bottles of OPI nailpolishes in a rainbow of colors and experienced nail technicians who are usually booked throughout the month! That's not all, they also offer waxing, facials, manicures and pedicures along with therapeutic treatments. Whether you feel like a long hard week warrants a little TLC for your nails or want to go all out with a spa package, you’ll leave Skah feeling and looking like a goddess, just like I did!
