Exquisite Indian Ethic Apparel At Biba

BIBA is the most loved and most popular ethnic fashion brand in India. The brand was created in 1988 by founder Meena Bindra from her Delhi home. The word “biba” is a Punjabi endearment for a young and pretty girl. What began as a fashionable and affordable line remains the brand’s ethos today: fashion at affordable price. Today, it is a market leader in affordable ethnic daily and occasion wear. Biba offers contemporary ethnic fashion at affordable price offering kurtis, salwar kameezes, bottom wear and dupattas in numerous styles, color combinations and patterns. They offer a wide range of mix-and-match kurta pieces, so you can express your own individual style. Here are some of their gorgeous kurtas for women

Biba is very special to me as I was handling their social media management for over a year and half and in my first stint at a digital marketing firm and the brand was my baby! I spent every day writing about their various products and collections while handling the Biba facebook community so I definitely have a lot to say about it :)

Biba has a wide range of collections both online and in their retail stores.  Besides their online store, Biba has a presence across 76 Indian cities with 192 exclusive brand outlets and over 250 multi-brand outlets. Their mix-and-match range has a very contemporary sensibility while the salwar-kameez range is very ethnic, defined by an Indian crafted look, hand-block prints, and vegetable dyes.  Indian handlooms with traditional embroideries and other techniques are applied in producing the garments.  They also have unstitched suits and a festive collection for 2-12 year-old girls. Whether you are a budget conscious housewife or a corporate executive, Biba's got something for everyone.

  11. I didn't know about this brand, but you know (I guess) that I love Indian fashion and that I wear it pretty often! So it's so good to know about it! Also, so nice that you handled its marketing, I can imagine how it is your baby! I loved the clothes you showed here, especially the Salwar Kameez sets - I wear them, very much, just that in the "west" I wear them without the pants. Like a dress. I simply love them! Hope you have a great weekend!
